Lorraine Tourist Board
The Lorraine is the only French region that borders with Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany. The region is located in the north of France, it is about 5 hours’ drive from the centre of the Netherlands and accessible by train. Hills and forests ensure that the region is a challenge for adventurous tourism. A very varied tourist region with cities like Nancy and Metz (one of the oldest French cities). Besides the cities the Vosges, Vittel and Verdun/Contrexeville are also some of the many highlights in this region. For wine lovers it’s interesting to walk or drive along the Moselle, known for its Moselle wines.
