International tourism Public Relations Network rebrands itself
With the launch of a new name and a new website at the ITB travel fair in Berlin, the international network of PR-agencies is preparing itself for the continously changing travel sector. The network was founded six years ago under the name 'Tourism Trademark' but the new name 'Travel Lifestyle Network' (TLN) suits the new approach to reach markets beyond the travel industry such as lifestyle, culture, art and hospitality. 'We not only work and think in terms of destinations but would also like to support similar fields such as accommodations, transportation organisations, cultural and art related institutions, sights, bars and restaurants and hospitality,' says Marcel Baltus, owner of Baltus Communications, the PR-agency that represents the Dutch and Belgian markets on behalf of the network. 'In addition for us, the Dutch and Belgian markets are relatively small in global perspective. Finding a connection to the rest of the world is a real necessity for us. Since the foundation as an European network six years ago, we have grown to an international cooperation with representatives in thirteen countries spread over four continents.' Further information about the Travel Lifestyle Network can be found on www.travellifestylenetwork.com.
Originally founded with the goal to spread actions and activities for tourism related clients in different markets, the full-service package of marketing and PR activities is now also being offered to a broader group of companies in the travel, hospitality, lifestyle and consumer industry.
Hanna Kleber - director at the German PR-agency KPRN and co-founder of TLN, says: 'Our network has become stronger over the past six years by bringing together a large group of involved professionals from both the travel industry as well as the lifestyle industry which allows us to offer a coordinated international PR approach which benefits from local knowledge and expertise. This rebranch reflects the continuously changing consumer behaviour and the demand from he tourism and lifestyle markets in terms of borderless PR and marketing activities.
Recently Gretz Communications AG from Switserland and DechmannCommunication from Luxembourg joined the network. Other members are located in the United States, India, Scandinavia, Ireland, France, Italy and the United Kingdom.
